1
Take the journey yourself

Go to whydoyoucreate.com and complete the full experience. You can't hold space for someone naming their deepest creative fear if you've never sat with that question yourself.

Become a kindler

Go to whydoyoucreate.com/kindler and sign up. Include your organization and why you want to lead workshops. You'll be set up with your own kindler account.

3
Create your first room

Log in to your kindler dashboard. Create a room, give it a name, and get your join link. This is what participants will use to enter the experience.

4
Read the kindler curriculum

Your dashboard links to a comprehensive hosting guide covering three session formats (assign & discuss, single session, checkpoints), discussion prompts, and how to read the room data.

Choose your format

Assign & discuss (45–60 min): they do it before, you debrief. Single session (75–120 min): they do it in the room. Checkpoints (60–120 min): you pace them through it. Start with assign & discuss if unsure.

Send the pre-workshop email

Use the email template from the brand materials folder. Include the room link, what to expect, and privacy assurance. Send at least 48 hours before if using assign & discuss format.

7
Run your first session

Use the kindler cheat sheet during the session. Open with acknowledgment, debrief with the prompts, use the room data for group patterns, close with forward momentum. Sweet spot: 10–25 people. After your room closes, you'll get a data-driven recap with follow-up discussion templates, and an automated check-in email goes out to participants. Manage your email preferences anytime from the dashboard.

Save a template for next time (optional)

If you'll run the same workshop format again, save your room as a template. Check the "also save current name & capacity as defaults" box next to "Save as template" — future rooms loaded from this template will prefill name + capacity automatically. Templates can be renamed or deleted later from the dropdown. Even simpler: hit "duplicate" on a past room in your dashboard to clone its name, capacity, checkpoints, and skip-screens in one click.

Manage the recap link

Every closed room generates a public, aggregate-only recap link that lives 30 days. Share it with participants as a takeaway. If you ever want to end sharing early, click Revoke link on the recap-share panel — toggleable, so you can re-share later. Reachable from any past room in your dashboard, not just the one you just closed.

Bridge to 1-on-1 work (only if you're also a guide)

If you also have a guide profile, you can opt in to showing your guide-invite link to workshop participants on their closing screen. Flip "Show my guide invite to participants in my workshop recaps" in your email-prefs panel. Off by default; preview link in the panel shows what they'll see.

Total setup time: about 1 hour. Then you're ready to lead workshops for any group.
