What is this?
Why Do You Create is a private, guided journey that asks people one question at a time about their relationship with creativity. It takes 20-40 minutes and ends with a personalized manifesto based on everything they shared. People name their creative medium, their fears, the permission they need, and what keeps them going.
As a guide, you send your client through the journey before your session. When they arrive, they've already done the internal work. You have a manifesto and a set of honest answers to build on — not a blank slate.
How it works
Why it works
The journey was designed as an individual experience. Your client sits alone with hard questions about their creative life — no audience, no performance. The honesty that produces is exactly what you need to do deeper work. By the time they sit down with you, they've already named things they might never say unprompted.
Research shows creative expression reduces cortisol, improves immune function, and deepens sense of purpose. The journey makes this personal — connecting each person to why their specific creative work matters to them.

Who this is for
Creative coaches. Therapists working with artists or writers. Career counselors helping people reconnect with creative work. Spiritual directors. Anyone who works 1-on-1 with people and believes their creative life is worth exploring.
You don't need a specific certification. You need to be someone your clients trust with vulnerable material, and someone who understands that asking "why do you create?" is a serious question.
